My philosophy is simple. Ag people have the best stories.
People who work in agriculture are kind and compassionate, innovative and bold. We deserve to have our stories told with as much creativity and care as possible, because we have chosen some of the most important jobs in the world.
What I do
Simply put, I make the things you need to market your business.
I’ve spent my career in marketing and communications, and my life in agriculture. I bring expertise in all the areas listed here, and I’m always looking for a fun new challenge.
Who I am
I started Julie Fritsch Creative in 2017 after spending the first 17 years of my career working in a few different roles – always close to agriculture, and always with a hand in the communications and marketing side of things. Most recently, I was the Director of Communications and Marketing for the National Association of Agricultural Educators. I spent a decade there, supporting members through a variety of programs and sharing the story about the great work agriculture teachers are doing all across the U.S.
In that role, the one thing I consistently had trouble finding was someone who had the technical skills to help me execute my plans. I knew I needed a website, or a giveaway, or an annual report, but it was tough trying to find someone who could step in and create those pieces. I ended up doing a lot of those things myself, which was a great way to learn, but pulled me away from the bigger picture.
That, along with the realization that I really liked the hands-on making side of things, led me to start Julie Fritsch Creative. I’m a solo shop, although I do collaborate with some extremely talented professionals from time to time, depending on the project.
I’ve been fortunate over the years to have gathered a wide variety of experience. News writing, graphic design, event management, social media, websites – I’ve done all that and more.
I’m passionate about agriculture, and that’s why I’ve chosen to focus my creative business on this sector. I’ve worked with agriculture nonprofits, brick and mortar stores, CSA growers, cattle producers…you name it.
I’d love to learn more about what you do and discuss how we can work together. You can contact me at 859-340-0501 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
About our farm
I can’t have an “about me” page without including our farm. Fritsch Farms is a 5th generation farm in central Kentucky where my husband and I work along side his dad to raise beef cattle, crops and hay.
It’s a beautiful place that we’re lucky to have a part in. If I’m not at my desk, you’ll probably find me feeding cattle, following equipment, or tending my garden.
I’ve been fortunate to have spent my entire life in agriculture. I grew up on a dairy in northeastern Kentucky, I have a degree in agricultural communications from the University of Kentucky, and now, we’re living our dream, raising kids and cows on the family farm. There’s nowhere I’d rather be.
My headshot and the other pictures in this about our farm section were taken by the extraordinarily talented Sabrina Hounshell, another creative entrepreneur. You can find her at seriouslysabrinaphotography.com
